HIGH OCTANE ACTION & CELEBS AT CYPRUS RALLY

DOWN TOWN SPECIAL

DTS - Description:

Evoking the most glamorous of Formula 1 events, the Monaco Grand Prix, the 23rd and final special stage of the 2006 Cyprus Rally will see the drivers competing against each other round the winding streets of the old part of the city of Lemesos.

Taking in the Lemesos sea front, the Medieval castle, the church of Ayia Napa, the Catholic church, the old market, the historical street of Ayiou Andreou, and many of the narrow streets of the old town, the 3.5-kilometre DTS promises to be fast, unique and exciting.

Held over a 3-hour period, including sideshow events and entertainment, the DTS promises to be a spectacular finale to this year’s rally. The event will be broadcast live to more than 100 million viewers, in Europe alone.
